Cathay Pacific fly non-stop from London Heathrow to Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific's home & hub, more times a day than any other airline. From here we provide seamless onward connections to over 120 worldwide destinations with our sister airline Dragonair, including direct flights to 20 cities in mainland China. When you fly with us, you will enjoy some unique privileges when you arrive at the Hong Kong International Airport, our home. For a start, we have six preferred Arrival / Departure / Transit Gates -- conveniently located next to both Immigration and the Arrivals Hall. That means no more long walks to get to the Immigration counters, or a mad dash to catch your flight!

Online check-in is available to members (and their travelling companions) of The Marco Polo Club and Asia Miles and to those who have booked online and have an e-ticket. Cathay Pacific passengers can check-in and select their seats from 48 hours up to 90 minutes before departure. Boarding passes can be picked up from the online check-in counter or via the CXpress check-in kiosk. Self check-in kiosks are located at Hong Kong, Seoul and San Francisco airports.

Hand luggage: in all classes, Cathay Pacific passengers (except infants) are allowed one carry-on bag up to 56 x 36 x 27cm. The weight limit for economy is 7kg.

Checked: for travellers to and from the US, Canada, and some South American countries, Cathay Pacific permits two bags no heavier than 32kg. The baggage allowance for all other routes is 20kg in Economy.

Excess: charges vary by departure airport and are only available by telephoning the applicable Cathay Pacific reservations office.

Cathay Pacific¡¯s B747-400 and B777-200 aircrafts offer you your very own 6.5" personal TV which also becomes a video game console if you need just that extra excitement on-board. Once in the sky, you can sit back and enjoy your own personal TV. There are 25 channels to choose from -- everything from sports and news, to movies and shows. There's also Cathay KIDZ, as well as special movies and features for children. In fact, over 100 hours of non-stop entertainment awaits you - with interactive onscreen information available in English, and Chinese.

In Economy Class, you also enjoy a great selection of food and beverages. A variety of regional dishes as well as snack foods (such as ice cream and cup noodles) are available on selected flights. To go with the good food, many beverages such as oolong tea are served in the air.

Fare rules offered directly through the Cathay Pacific reservations centre may differ from those offered online.

To book flights for infants, passengers should call their travel agent or Cathay Pacific Reservations.

Cathay Pacific does transport pets; however, travellers going to Hong Kong need to apply for an import permit for their pet, even for transit. Animals, other than service dogs, are not permitted in the passenger cabin. Pets such as dogs, cats, and birds will be crated and transported in the cargo compartment.

And always, our attentive staff are at your beck and call. Our new First Class features a wonderfully big bed ¨C 81 inches long ¨C that will remind you of sleeping at home. And when you awake, a press of a button will transform it into one of the most comfortable seats in the sky, with massage function, extendable side seat, drop-down armrest, and all the adjustments you could want for a pleasant journey.

Cathay Pacific offer in-flight laptop power! to all passengers in First, Business and selected Economy Class. When travelling on aircraft equipped with DC power, you need to have your own universal air power adaptor that plugs into an "empower" socket. This is different from your terrestrial power charger, and can purchase on the ground at any major computer store. AC power sockets are receptacle for US 2 or 3 pins plug and European standard. It is suitable for most multi-plug adaptors commonly used by travellers and no transformer is required.
